Complete Oral Exams

During your first visit to Pradham Dental Care, we conduct a comprehensive oral examination. Following check-up visits, we’ll also cover the following:

• Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions.
• Evaluation of gum disease: We look for any symptoms of periodontal disease in the gums and surrounding bone.
• Examining tooth decay: We use specialized dental tools to look for tooth decay on all tooth surfaces.
• Examining already-placed restorations: We look at how existing crowns, fillings, and other restorations are doing.
• Oral cancer screening: We look for any indications of oral cancer on your face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums.
